You Dazzle Us!
Metric-Minded:
In our last update, we asked for your feedback on metrics to include in our Zeal app, and we LOVE your ideas! Let’s take a look at a few of them.
Cadence: After learning and seeing the benefits of the Galloway cadence drills, we could never forget cadence! Thanks for reminding us how important it is.
Incognito mode: Some folks don’t want their paces called out during a class, and we respect that. We’re working on a toggle in the user profile that can be turned on to indicate you are a camouflaged zebra, aka one that is stealthy enough to avoid being called out in a dazzle. This will ‘hide’ your metrics but the coach will still know you are in the class participating.
Miles AND Kilometers option: Do you live in a part of the world where miles are the preferred measure of distance? Or maybe you just prefer kilometer distance over miles? The choice will be yours to display your preference!
Personal Milestones (example: fastest pace, 5k, 10k, etc): This one is BIG on our list! One of our goals with Zeal is to help every participant be their best, so we are working on views that will capture your personal progress.
We’re working hard on all kinds of features and they may not be included in our first couple of updates, but we will keep you in the loop along the way! Please keep the ideas coming in at social@runwithzeal.com; we appreciate your input.
And the events continue! Winter races are coming up fast - are you logging miles toward your next goal?
Zeal Meetups:
We are working on a 2023 calendar of Zeal Events, those in which we will have an official Zeal presence. Because we want to get out there and have fun with you. We hope to release the calendar soon so we can all start planning ahead, but it is no surprise that the first meetup will be at The Donna Marathon weekend in Jacksonville, FL in February. It’s not too late to join in!
