We have been working hard to get the app in a state that meets the needs of our community and is sustainable and reliable. As you know, this has taken quite a bit of our time and effort, but we are happy to report some tangible progress!

We had our first Live Zeal!
Terry and Coach Kellie walked along to Coach Betsy’s stories, while Coach Amy popped in and out of the chat.
Right now we are internally testing the app foundations to ensure that those are strong going forward. What’s being tested?
Visual elements - Does everything appear the way it should and behave the way it should as you navigate through the app?
Chat interface - Does the text and keyboard function as needed? Are the messages timely and listed in proper order? Are image uploads displaying appropriately?
Voice of the coach - Is the voice communication clear through the app? Is the voice lagged in any way? Do the coach controls function appropriately?
User session interface - Is the distance being tracked accurately? Is the speedometer and activity level (run, walk, flying) accurate? Do the user controls (participate, listen in, mute, etc) all function appropriately?
Profiles - Are profiles displaying appropriately? Can the user edit and update their profiles?
Event listings - Are the events displaying correctly? Are the filtering functions working correctly? Can the coaches add/edit runs within the list?
CAN WE BREAK IT?
We’re putting the app through its paces! Once we are satisfied that things are working as intended, we’ll be asking you, the community, to jump in to test things out in beta, while enjoying a taste of the social running/walking experience again. EXCITING!

Peachtree Road Race 10k - Our next Zeal in-person meetup will be at the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, GA on July 4th 2023. It’s the world’s largest 10K!
